Felted Sculptures

Wool is truly a remarkable medium. With or without a wire armature, it can be shaped and sculpted into many
beautiful forms. These are a few of the new works I have created with many new ideas to come!

Sandpiper

This 3D bird is mounted to driftwood. He is made with a wire armature and stands about 6 inches tall.

Seagull

Seagulls can be a bit annoying but not when
they are made from wool! This fellow was made
with a wire armature and individually made tail feathers. His webbed fetet are perched on a rope wrapped perch as if he was by the sea.

Shelf Chickadee

A little singing Chickadee stands on a birch base ready to cheer up your window sill or shelf.

After hurricane Fiona, there were a lot of downed trees and so it seemed fitting to use them to showcase the popular chickadee.
